Editorial policy and how we review
How we research, check and update everything we publish.
Our sources
For every guide and review we read the platform's own terms, fee schedule, help centre and app store listing, plus regulator material (the CFTC in the US; national gambling or financial regulators abroad). We link to the sources that matter so you can check them yourself.
Research, not hype
Our reviews are research-based. When a statement comes from our own hands-on use of an app, we say so clearly. We never invent test results, user numbers or quotes.
Who's responsible
Our founder and editor, Catie Di Stefano, is responsible for everything we publish. We use software tools, including AI, to help research, draft and translate; people decide what goes on the site.
Dates on everything that changes
Offers, fees, minimum deposits and state availability change often. Each of these facts shows the date we last checked it. We review every page at least every 60 days, and money pages (promo codes, best-app lists) weekly.
Ratings
Where we compare platforms, we weigh five things: how safe and regulated it is, how many markets it has, costs (fees and spreads), how easy it is for a beginner, and how easily you can get your money out. Affiliate commissions are not a factor.
Corrections
Mistakes happen. Tell us on the contact page. We correct factual errors quickly, and when a correction changes a recommendation we note it on the page.
Responsible trading
We never promise profits or describe any trade as safe from loss, and we never target anyone under 21 (18 on some platforms). See Responsible trading.
