How to sign up for Kalshi (step by step, with promo code)
From download to your first deposit in about 10 minutes, including how to claim the welcome offer.
Short answer: Go to Kalshi through our link, create an account with your email, enter promo code WINPREDITCS, verify your identity (name, date of birth, address and part of your Social Security number), then deposit by bank transfer or debit card. It usually takes about 10 minutes. You need to be in a state where Kalshi is available.

What you need
- A US address and Social Security number (for identity checks)
- A photo ID, in case extra verification is needed
- A bank account or debit card
- To be physically in a state where Kalshi operates (checked 27 September 2026: most states, not Nevada)
Step by step
- Open Kalshi. Use Open Kalshi or download the Kalshi app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Tap "Sign up". Enter your email and create a password, or continue with Apple or Google.
- Enter the promo code. If you see a promo or referral code field, type
WINPREDITCS. Don't skip this: codes usually can't be added later. - Add your details. Legal name, date of birth, home address and phone number, exactly as on your ID.
- Verify your identity. Kalshi checks your details automatically. If it can't, it asks for a photo of your ID and a selfie. Most people are approved within minutes.
- Make a deposit. Go to Deposit, link your bank (instant login through your bank) or add a debit card. Bank transfers are usually free; cards are faster.
- Unlock the offer. The current offer is Trade $25, get $25. Read the offer terms in the app to see exactly what counts.
- Find a market. Browse categories or search, then read the market's Rules before you buy.

Common sign-up problems
- "We couldn't verify your identity." Check that your name and address match your ID exactly (no nicknames, include apartment numbers). Then upload your ID when asked.
- "Not available in your location." The app checks where you physically are. Location services must be on.
- Bank won't link. Try entering your routing and account numbers manually, or use a debit card.
