How to withdraw money from Kalshi
Bank or card, how long it takes, and what to do if it's delayed.
By Catie Di Stefano, Founder and Editor
Short answer: In Kalshi, go to your balance, tap Withdraw, choose your linked bank or debit card, enter the amount and confirm. Bank (ACH) withdrawals typically arrive in 1 to 3 business days; debit card withdrawals can be faster. You can only withdraw cash, not open positions: sell or wait for settlement first.
Step by step
- Open Kalshi and go to Account or tap your balance.
- Tap Withdraw.
- Pick where the money goes: your linked bank account or debit card.
- Enter the amount. Only settled cash is withdrawable.
- Confirm. You'll get an email when it's processed.
How long does it take?
| Method | Typical time | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Bank transfer (ACH) | 1 to 3 business days | Usually free |
| Debit card | Often same day | May have a small fee |
| Wire | Same or next business day | Usually a fee |

If your withdrawal is stuck
- Recent deposit: money deposited by bank transfer may need to clear before you can withdraw it.
- Bonus money: promotional credits usually have to be traded before they can be withdrawn.
- Verification: Kalshi may ask for more documents on larger withdrawals.
